Founding of Club
Kiwanis Club of the Valley in Auburn, Washington was founded in June 1973. The club began with just 25 members and has grown to its current membership of 65. Over the years, the club has held many fundraisers, including an Annual Golf Tournament in August, Onion Burger stand at Auburn's July 4th celebration, poinsettias sale in November and December and other events. We help out in the community in a variety of ways, including sponsoring youth groups, raising money to benefit children and children’s support groups, a Student of the Month program for Auburn's four middle schools, and providing scholarships. The club has enjoyed a rich history over the years, with its members coming from fields like accounting, civil service, education, management, and many more. For more information about us, check out our News page and our Activities Calendar. And to see what we’re doing with kids in the area, why not take a look at our Sponsored Youth page?
